At the 2025 World Games taking place in Chengdu, China, the Ukrainian rowing team achieved remarkable success by winning several medals.
In the dragon boat racing events, Ukrainian athletes secured 4 medals across 5 finals held on August 10.
In the 200-meter race among 8-person boats, the Ukrainians finished in 5th place, but the 10-person crew won a bronze medal in the same distance.
The silver medal was claimed in the 500-meter event, while gold medals were won by the open 8-person crew in the 500-meter race and the 10-person team in the 2000-meter pursuit race.
The Ukrainian dragon boat rowing team at the 2025 World Games included: Viktor Svyrydyuk, Mykola Verkhovetskyi, Yurii Bardashevskyi, Serhii Semeniuk, Oleksandr Kalmu, Danylo Kukharyk, Olesia Matviyenko, Anastasiia Mazurenko, Olha Buraho, Sniжana Zhihailo, Kateryna Petrenko, Olena Skvortsova.
Following these results, Ukraine moved up to third place in the medal standings with 8 medals, 4 of which are gold. Germany leads the chart with a total of 18 medals, 8 of which are of the highest rank.
