On Friday, August 8, the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) released its updated rankings.

Elina Svitolina, the top-ranked player from Ukraine, remained in 13th place despite reaching the quarter-finals in Montreal. The leader continues to be Belarusian player Aryna Sabalenka.

In the top 10, American Madison Keys rose to sixth place from eighth, while Kazakhstan's Elena Rybakina returned to the top 10 after her semi-final appearance at the Canadian event.

Marta Kostyuk, who reached the quarter-finals in Montreal, climbed to the 27th position, while Dayana Yastremska moved up four spots to be ranked 31st after her fourth-round performance.

Julia Starodubtseva played in the third round in Canada, jumping up 10 spots and achieving a personal best at 63rd place.

Angelina Kalinina remains at 132nd. Daria Snigur gained 17 positions (now ranked 176th), surpassing Oleksandra Oliynykova, who dropped 15 spots to 191st. Anastasia Soboleva fell to 237th place.
