On Monday, July 21, the Women's Tennis Association (WTA) released its updated rankings.
Following the tennis week, Ukraine's top player Elina Svitolina moved up to the 13th spot.
Leading the list is Belarusian Aryna Sabalenka, who has significantly widened her lead over Coco Gauff after the Wimbledon tournament. There were no changes in the top ten rankings.
Marta Kostyuk maintained her position at 27th, while Dayana Yastremska climbed 6 spots to now sit at 33rd after reaching the semifinals in Hamburg.
Yuliya Starodubtseva dropped two places to 74th. Angelina Kalinina fell 4 positions to the 127th spot.
Oleksandra Oliynykova, after winning the ITF W75 tournament in The Hague, dropped by 2 places.
Daria Snihur, on the other hand, showed progress and returned to the top 200. Anastasia Soboleva also rose significantly in the rankings, now at 216th after climbing 17 spots.
