Ukrainian athletes have made a strong impact at the European Championship in canoeing for juniors and U23, taking place in Pitești, Romania.

According to the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, our athletes have secured medals.

«Silver» was won by Yaroslav Verblyud and Vitaliy Prystay in the canoe double event over 1000 meters (U23) with a time of 3:40.263.

«Bronze» went to Tymofii Melnychuk and Ivan Kysil in the canoe double event over 1000 meters for juniors, finishing with a time of 3:45.963.
