The Ukrainian community in Canada had the chance to visit the exhibition "Ukrainian Football: The Game Continues" before its official opening.

Among the attendees were players from the Ukrainian national team: Mykola Matviyenko, Heorhiy Sudakov, Roman Yaremchuk, and Ivan Kaliuzhnyi.

The exhibition "Ukrainian Football: The Game Continues" is taking place in Toronto, where visitors can see original football trophies, coaching notes from Valeriy Lobanovskyi, and learn how Ukrainian football is surviving during the war.

This unique project, featuring over 200 exhibits, is being showcased outside Ukraine for the first time to tell the world about the history and development of Ukrainian football and its significant contribution to Ukraine's fight during the war.

The exhibition, titled “Ukrainian Football: The Game Continues”, will be held at Trident Centre in Toronto from June 5 to June 10 (10:00 AM to 8:00 PM). Admission is free.

It was organized by the Ukrainian Football Association as part of the Canadian Shield tournament, in which the national team of Ukraine will participate.

The Canadian Shield tournament is a new international competition organized by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, SPORTFIVE, and MIB Sport Agency.

Four men's national teams will participate in the Canadian Shield: Canada, Ukraine, Côte d'Ivoire, and New Zealand.

The Canadian Shield competitions are positioned as a preparation stage for the upcoming World Cup, parts of which will be held in North America in 2026.
