Ukraine has secured its second gold medal at the 2025 European Championships taking place in Antalya, Turkey.
16-year-old Ksenia Bocek and 18-year-old Diana Karnafel became European champions in synchronized diving from the 3-meter springboard in their debut at the senior level.
Their performance earned them a total of 276 points, placing them first. Germany came in second with 265.95 points, while Great Britain took third place with 264.90 points.
This gold medal marks Ukraine's first in this event in 26 years. The last time Ukrainian women topped the podium in synchronized diving from a 3-meter springboard was in 1999, with Elena Zupina and Anna Sorokina winning gold.
Additionally, the Ukrainian diving team had previously won gold in mixed team events, reinforcing their status as European champions in this discipline.
