Ukrainian tennis player Anastasia Soboleva has made her debut in the main draw of Roland Garros, following a final match against British player Francesca Jones.

Three Ukrainian players participated in the women's singles qualifiers: Yulia Starodubtseva, Daria Snihur, and Anastasia Soboleva. Snihur was eliminated in the second round, while Starodubtseva and Soboleva advanced to the finals. While Yulia had the opportunity to qualify again, Anastasia was making her tournament debut.

Only one Ukrainian player managed to qualify for the second Grand Slam of the 2025 season: Soboleva defeated Francesca Jones in three sets, while Starodubtseva lost to Czech player Sara Bejlek.

• The first set was completed by the Ukrainian in under 30 minutes, winning all six games consecutively, including saving three break points in the last game, to close the set at 6-0.
• However, in the second set, Jones made a comeback, taking advantage of three break points to level the match.
• In the deciding third set, Anastasia surged ahead, winning three games in a row. The players exchanged breaks twice, but Soboleva maintained her lead, winning 6-2.
