Ukrainian Swimmers Shine in Paris
The sixth stage of the 2025 World Series in swimming took place in the French capital, and the Ukrainian team delivered outstanding results. This was their third event of the season, where they secured six medals, including two gold and four bronze.
The most successful athlete was Denis Ostapenko, who won two gold medals and one bronze.
Denis finished first in the 50 meters backstroke in the S1–S5 classes and also claimed victory in the 150 meters individual medley in the SM1–SM4 classes. Additionally, he earned a bronze in the 200 meters freestyle in the S1–S5 and S14 categories.
Another Ukrainian, Yevheniy Bohodajko, added a bronze to the tally by finishing third in both the 100 meters breaststroke and 50 meters butterfly.
The third bronze medal was secured by Ihor Nimchenko, who placed in the top 3 in the 50 meters freestyle.

In previous stages held in Lignano Sabbiadoro and Barcelona, the team won a total of eight medals (4 gold, 3 silver, 1 bronze), bringing their season total to 14.
