The public organization “Nordic Ukraine Forum” hosted an academic seminar in Stockholm titled “Why Ukraine Matters”.
This event took place on February 27 and was aimed at senior students from leading North American universities studying in Sweden.
During the seminar, the chair of “Nordic Ukraine Forum” Alina Zubkovych and Swedish parliament staff member Anastasia Lenko discussed several key issues, including Ukraine's achievements and challenges over three years of war, Europe's role in supporting the country, and the relations between Ukraine and Sweden.
The speakers also emphasized the historical context and the ongoing military and humanitarian assistance that Sweden provides to Ukraine.
“This event served as an important reminder of Ukraine's resilience and the necessity of international support, particularly from Sweden and the USA, to ensure a stable future for the country,” – the organizers stated.
