On October 18, 2025, UNIT.City hosted the PolyTECH Summit, culminating an educational program that attracted over 1200 students from technical universities across Ukraine.
This event, supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, marked a significant advancement in the collaboration between education, business, and government.
From September 15 to October 17, students participated in an intensive training program called PolyTECH EDU, culminating in a grand summit in Kyiv.
The event was opened by First Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov and Minister of Education Oksen Lisovyi, who emphasized the strategic importance of developing the tech ecosystem for the country's future and its integration into the European innovation landscape.
"The summit's program united representatives from leading tech companies, educational institutions, and government bodies. Participants had the chance to learn about corporate education practices, discuss responsible AI implementation in higher education, and engage in discussions about contemporary leadership," stated UNIT.City.
A highlight was a panel discussion featuring university and tech company representatives, revealing diverse approaches to preparing future specialists and demonstrating effective collaboration between education and business.
Attendees not only listened to expert presentations but also participated in interactive sessions, workshops, and networking events. Special emphasis was placed on the practical application of knowledge and building professional connections within the industry.
"We are impressed by the level of engagement and activity from the participants at the PolyTECH Summit. Their energy and genuine interest in technology inspire us to continue moving forward," said Pavlo Mykhailiuk, Development Director at UNIT.City.
He believes that such initiatives are critical for the development of the tech ecosystem and the formation of a new generation of leaders. "We confidently declare that we will return next year with an even more ambitious program that will open up more opportunities for talented Ukrainian youth," he concluded.
The program was implemented with the support of leading companies, including OMD | Optimum Media, Credit Agricole Bank, Ajax Systems, with Lenovo as the technological partner.
