On Ukraine's Independence Day, the ancient art of block printing brought together Ukrainians in twenty countries around the world during the international event “SIGNS OF IDENTITY”.

Dozens of artisans from both Ukraine and abroad participated, creating a live broadcast of cultural unity while crafting their unique embroidered towels using block printing techniques.

The project was initiated by the artist Karina Gaeva.

Partners included the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, the Administration of National and Civic Identity, the Ukrainian Youth Center, the National Museum of Decorative Arts of Ukraine, and the Museum of Ukrainian Diaspora.

A heartfelt thank you to all the museum visitors who participated in the event and joined the block printing workshop, as well as to the musicians from Victory Beats, who created a special festive atmosphere during the event.

A special pride was the participation of the 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after the Black Zaporizhian Cossacks.

We thank all defenders of Ukraine for the opportunity to live, create, and love freely!
