On Ukraine's Independence Day, soldiers of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Magura" will ascend Mount Magura in the Carpathians for the second time, continuing their tradition of honoring fallen comrades.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported on the brigade's official Facebook page.

"Climbing Magura — we are establishing a new tradition for the 47th Brigade on Independence Day", - states the post.

The brigade noted that "on June 28, 2025, the soldiers of the 47th Brigade initiated a long-awaited new tradition — climbing Mount Magura in the Carpathians".

On August 23, Ukraine's Flag Day, the brigade's YouTube channel premiered a documentary film titled "Magura. The First Ascent".

"This symbolizes our path to victory", — emphasized the officer responsible for national-patriotic training of the 47th Brigade, call sign "Yar".

He also highlighted: "We walk today to remember the fallen, so that the hearts of our friends beat in unison with ours".
