In Kharkiv, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the youth hub «Litera», based at the regional children's library.
This hub hosts lectures, workshops, and training sessions. Students can prepare for the NMT for free, play board games, and watch movies. The space is designed for youth to grow and connect in person, despite the war.
Additionally, the hub features a recording studio for podcast creation. The President was a guest on an episode of the podcast «Challenges of Youth in Kharkiv Region».
«Since the beginning of the war, it has been crucial not to lose the unity of our state. I believe we have preserved Ukraine and independence precisely because of this,» said Volodymyr Zelensky.
The head of state and the podcast authors – Vira Bondar, Ivan Kurilo, and Maksym Nahlyi – discussed the impact of the full-scale Russian invasion on youth, the recovery of Kharkiv after the war, and the values of Ukrainian youth.
«Our warriors defend Kharkiv and the whole of Ukraine to restore life in Ukraine – a full life. Kharkiv has always been a city for the youth. I have always been a hundred percent confident in Kharkiv. And Kharkiv is just that – strong and self-assured,» noted the President.
Moreover, there is an ESTEAM laboratory at the library, which combines entrepreneurship, science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Here, young people can acquire new skills using a heat press, laser cutter, VR goggles, and a 3D printer.
