A fundraising event for the rehabilitation of injured veterans took place at a leisure and entertainment center.

This past weekend, the festival «Life Conquers All» was held at the Respublika Park shopping mall, focusing on integrating veterans into civilian life and their psychological recovery.

Visitors participated in expert-led lectures on mental health, as well as workshops on art therapy and meditation practices. Canine therapy, involving interaction with specially trained dogs, attracted significant attention as it helps stabilize emotional well-being.

«Our shopping center aims to serve as a platform for initiatives with real social impact, — emphasized Julia Shchaslyva, CEO of Respublika Park. — We see great value in supporting projects that assist veterans in adapting to peaceful life.»

A highlight of the program was a charity dog run featuring corgis, organized by the Holy Doggy team, emphasizing the importance of the bond between humans and animals.

«As volunteers, we strive to assist Ukrainian defenders in returning to social life. We do everything we can to ensure they feel they are not alone with their challenges and pain. The most crucial thing they need right now is support and communication,» — stated Kateryna Shershnova, festival organizer and founder of Holy Doggy.

The event also had a vital charitable goal — raising funds for implants for veterans and rehabilitation devices for those affected by combat.

The evening segment included a charity auction and a concert featuring Ukrainian performers Ivana Liulenova and Alisa.

This was the second festival of «Life Conquers All»; the first took place on August 11, 2024. According to organizers, over 5000 veterans and attendees participated in this year's event.

It is worth noting that Holy Doggy is a project created by the event agency Holy Sweets, alongside other partners, dedicated to promoting pet-friendly culture in Ukraine.
