A charity race took place at VDNH in Kyiv, featuring participants from the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine.
This event, named after military journalist Major Oleksii "Recruit" Chubashov, was organized by Run Ukraine in collaboration with his wife, Yuliia Chubasheva, and each year it gathers more and more people who hold the values of "honor," "memory," and "strength" dear.
The "Race of Honor" was joined by "SSO Recruiting."
Run Ukraine's traditional partner for events, "SSO Recruiting," set up a thematic zone in the central square of VDNH to introduce children and civilians to their activities.
"It is truly a great honor for us to participate in the race in honor of 'Recruit'," says Alina Furman, spokesperson for "SSO Recruiting." "Oleksii Chubashov did an incredible job for the Special Operations Forces, promoting the Q-course — one of the best and toughest courses training fighters for survival under various conditions. Many associate the Q-course with Oleksii's name."
It was pleasant to see the youth interested in job vacancies, communicating with recruiters and our military personnel. Today, people were less interested in simulations and more in real conversations and practical knowledge. We are extremely inspired, in good spirits, with new contacts and challenges, and already preparing for upcoming similar events.
The SSO location combined information and experience: all who wished could learn about service in the SSO, see the drones used at the front, and undertake various challenges.
"Titan" administered the tests while SSO recruiters ran.
One of the most interesting elements was the physical readiness test for SSO service, conducted by SSO ambassador Oleksandr "Titan" Titenko. Depending on gender and age, participants had to complete a specific number of pull-ups, push-ups, and sit-ups. Those who met the standards received gifts from the well-known military brand Camotec. The line of those eager to take the "Titan" test did not disappear until the end of the event.
The friendly team from "SSO Recruiting" demonstrated the importance of sports by fielding their own teams for the race. The guys and girls, many of whom have combat experience, completed the distance with smiles on their faces, proudly raising the flag of the Special Operations Forces at the finish line.
Looking forward to the next meeting.
The next Run Ukraine event is scheduled for October 11-12: the "PrivatBank Kyiv Marathon of Resilience 2025" will take place in Kyiv, on Trukhaniv Island. Get ready now!
