In the coming days, an important meeting involving Ukrainian and Russian representatives will take place in Ankara, Turkey.

The primary topic of discussion will be maritime security in the Black Sea.

This was reported by CNN Türk, citing official sources from the Turkish Ministry of Defense.

The meeting is scheduled for April 15-16.

"On April 15-16, Russian and Ukrainian officials will meet in Ankara to discuss Black Sea security," the channel reports.

It is expected that military representatives from other nations will also be present, although their identities have not been disclosed.

The discussions will focus on measures to support peace and security in the region.

Ceasefire Negotiations

Following recent talks in Saudi Arabia, the United States and Ukraine agreed to further discuss maritime security in the Black Sea.

At the same time, talks occurred between US and Russian delegations, where Russia demanded control over certain Ukrainian territories.

Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested considering the idea of international administration in Ukraine involving the UN and other countries.

The Kremlin reiterated its claims about the alleged illegitimacy of President Volodymyr Zelensky.

Meanwhile, the UN reaffirmed that Ukraine has a legitimate government that should be respected.

US President Donald Trump also rejected the Kremlin's proposal for temporary administration in Ukraine.
