More than fifty nations have begun dialogues with the United States to ease trade conflicts.

This was announced by the head of the National Economic Council, Kevin Hassett.

According to Hassett, over 50 countries are engaging in discussions regarding tariffs.

He stated that Trump was in talks with global leaders throughout the weekend. Taiwan reached out to him overnight, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is set to visit the White House on Monday to discuss trade policy and Middle Eastern issues.

“He intends to listen to our trade partners, and if they come to us with genuinely beneficial proposals that will aid American manufacturing and farmers, I am confident he will consider them,” Hassett added.

As a reminder:

US President Donald Trump stated that he does not seek a stock market crash but views the current situation as a necessary measure.
