Cardinal Konrad Krajewski, the envoy of the Pope, has brought four ambulances to Ukraine as humanitarian aid.
This was reported on April 7 by the press office of the Holy See, according to "European Truth".
Krajewski transported the four ambulances bearing the Vatican coat of arms to Ukraine with the assistance of three Ukrainian drivers, as stated in the report.
It is noted that the vehicles are "fully equipped with medical supplies necessary for saving lives".
The Holy See did not specify when and where the ambulances were delivered.
This marks the tenth mission of the Pope's envoy to Ukraine for delivering humanitarian aid. During one of the missions in September 2022, Krajewski was caught in a Russian shelling.
Last year, Pope Francis remarked that Ukrainians and Russians are "distant cousins" who "need to understand each other".
