US Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia Keith Kellogg is set to visit Germany, Belgium, and Ukraine from February 13 to 22, according to the US State Department's press service.

When will Kellogg arrive in Ukraine?

The purpose of his visit is to promote President Donald Trump's strategy of achieving peace through strength in Ukraine and protecting US national security interests.

During the trip, Kellogg plans to participate in the Munich Security Conference, visit NATO and EU headquarters in Brussels, and meet with Ukrainian officials and citizens.

The State Department noted that Trump has "clearly indicated that hostilities must cease, and the United States is prepared to support a long-term solution."

"The President's Special Envoy Kellogg is determined to conduct the tough diplomacy necessary to achieve the President's goals," the statement said.

Trump Confirms Kellogg's Planned Visit to Ukraine

The US President previously stated that he would speak with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky this week, and his Special Envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, will soon visit Kyiv.

The US presidential administration has suspended the development of a peace plan for Ukraine to give Europe a seat at the negotiating table.

Zelensky is expected to attend the Munich Security Conference, where the war with Russia and ways to end it will be key agenda items.

Special Envoy Kellogg has previously stated that Ukraine must be prepared to hold elections during the war.
