The National Police recorded a surge in bomb threat reports, exceeding 2000 cases. This was announced by the press service of the National Police.

Starting January 30 at 09:30, electronic addresses of government bodies, educational institutions, banks, and other organizations received a flood of bomb threat notifications.

As of 12:10, over 2000 reports were received by police from regions including Vinnytsia, Volyn, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Zakarpattia, Zaporizhia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Lviv, Kyiv city, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy, Ternopil, Kharkiv, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Chernivtsi, and Chernihiv.

The National Police indicated that nearly 30% of these reports have been checked, and no confirmation was found at those sites.

Investigations into other sites are ongoing.

On January 30, bomb threat reports were also received regarding several facilities in the capital, including government offices and educational institutions.
