Due to an accident on the railway tracks near Korosten, several passenger trains are now forced to take detours, resulting in delays.
This has been reported by "Ukrzaliznytsia".
"Several passenger trains continue to operate on detour routes, which causes delays compared to the regular schedule," the statement says.
Specifically, the Kharkiv – Uzhhorod train is delayed by 7 hours and 24 minutes, while trains from Kholem, Warsaw, and Przemyśl to Kyiv are delayed by three hours.

"Ukrzaliznytsia" stated that restoration work is ongoing near Korosten, utilizing all necessary equipment and personnel.
"We are also monitoring the condition of our locomotive crew, who were injured due to the locomotive being struck by an enemy drone. There is no threat to our personnel's lives," notes "Ukrzaliznytsia".
"Railway workers also thank the Shepetivka city council for their prompt assistance in transferring some passengers to Korosten by bus: speed on a frosty morning matters," the statement concludes.
