A large new food production plant called Neo Food System has begun construction in the Kyiv region, covering over 4,000 square meters.

This was announced by Dmitro Kysylevskyi, the Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development.

"The planned capacity of the plant will allow for the production of 60,000 ready meals daily to meet regional demand. The factory will produce ready-to-eat chilled meals, pasteurized, sterilized, and frozen dishes," he wrote on Facebook.

Kysylevskyi noted that the investment in this project amounts to 200 million UAH.

He emphasized that the Neo Food System kitchen factory project involved the acquisition of a ready industrial property, which already has the necessary infrastructure for electricity, water supply, sewage treatment, and drainage.

Equipment installation is set to begin in April 2026, with production expected to commence in May and reach full capacity by September 2026, according to Kysylevskyi.

He added that the Sol Union group, which is constructing Neo Food System, already operates two food production plants in Dnipro that produce ready-to-eat meals, quick meals, packaging of grocery products, sugar and coffee sticks, as well as pasta, sauces, and jams.

A total of 340 workers are currently employed across the group’s facilities in Dnipro, with an additional 130 positions available as they seek specialists.
