Ukrposhta has announced the launch of its own network of parcel machines. According to the company’s statement, the first 100 units will be installed this year.
Initially, residents of Kyiv, where 70 machines will be set up, and Odesa, where 30 units will be installed, will be able to use the new service. The company plans to expand its reach across Ukraine by 2026.
Packages can be retrieved using a PIN code or through the updated Ukrposhta 2.0 app, which was introduced in September and is available in the App Store and Google Pay.
According to the statement, Ukrposhta's parcel machines were designed with enhanced security standards and can operate independently, even without electricity or connectivity.
