At the MSPO exhibition held in Poland, the Ukrainian company Fire Point unveiled its latest strike drone, the FP-2, intended for hitting targets close to the front lines. This was reported by "Militarny".
The new model structurally resembles the long-range FP-1 UAV, which is employed for striking targets deep within Russia, but comes with different specifications. The range has been reduced to 200 km, while the warhead has been increased to 105 kg.
This drone is capable of targeting stationary objects using autonomous guidance, as well as engaging moving targets controlled by an operator via radio link. It can operate both during the day and at night.
It is noted that the FP-2 is already in use at the front lines, with developers offering options for stationary launchers and a mobile variant that can be camouflaged as a truck.
Additionally, Fire Point announced several new projects at the MSPO exhibition, including ballistic missiles FP-7 and FP-9. The FP-7 is reported to have a strike range of up to 200 km with a warhead weight of 150 kg, while the FP-9 can travel up to 855 km with a warhead of up to 800 kg.
Recall that in the spring, the FP-1 drone was introduced, which is designed for engaging the enemy at strategic depths. This UAV can carry a warhead of up to 120 kg and has a flight range of up to 1600 km.
