President Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska, together with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, gathered at the Wall of Remembrance in Kyiv to honor the fallen heroes.

A corresponding video was shared on the President's Telegram channel.

“This is a place of remembrance and great respect. Here lie the names of those who sacrificed their lives for our independence and freedom. Today, together with First Lady Olena Zelenska and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, we paid tribute to the fallen defenders of Ukraine. We cherish the memory of each one of them. We honor their heroism and all they did for Ukraine to thrive. Eternal gratitude and glory to the heroes,” the statement read.
