The "The Will of the Free Cannot Be Broken" exhibition has opened at Contract Square in Kyiv, highlighting the heroic achievements of the Ukrainian people against Russian aggression.
This exhibition has already been showcased in cities like Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Bucha. It illustrates how Ukrainian cities endured the initial enemy assaults, becoming symbols of resilience and strength.
The initiative for this exhibition comes from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, aiming to emphasize the heroism of Ukrainians through cultural projects. 'Unbreakable Spirits' is located at Contract Square, where thousands can engage with the display.
The exhibition serves as a crucial element in fostering national consciousness and unity. Volodymyr TiliShchak, Deputy Head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory, noted that examples of Ukrainians who did not surrender are particularly relevant today.
“These events have become part of our history and inspire the ongoing struggle,” TiliShchak added.
The exhibition focuses on the courage of 10 Ukrainian cities that have become symbols of resistance. Kharkiv, Kherson, Chernihiv, and Mykolaiv were among the first to be honored as 'Hero Cities of Ukraine' for their bravery.
Oleksandr Alfiorov, head of the UINP, emphasized that the exhibition resonates in the hearts of Ukrainians, as it tells the truth of their fight for independence.
Residents from cities and villages across Ukraine, alongside the military, have demonstrated unprecedented acts of heroism that inspire the fight for freedom.
“Conveying the truth about the war is an important task,” noted Oleksiy Serhiyenko, Deputy Head of the Humanitarian Support Department of the Ministry of Defense.
The exhibition continues to travel, showcasing the resilience of Ukrainians and their desire for freedom.
