Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Ukraine, participated in the «Business Without Barriers» community meeting, which unites companies supporting the «Without Barriers» initiative.

Attendees included Deputy Prime Minister Oleksii Kuleba, National Bank Chairman Andrii Pyshny, and other government and business representatives.

«The launched campaign «Accessibility – When You Can» encouraged people to recognize their needs, which is crucial for driving change,» emphasized Olena Zelenska.

Participants shared experiences in implementing accessibility. For instance, DTEK presented adaptations of mining facilities for employing people with disabilities.

They also discussed the preparation of a guide on accessibility in financial services, created with the support of banks and the NBU.

A separate discussion focused on the «Movement Without Barriers» program, concerning the adaptation of infrastructure for people with special needs.

Olena Zelenska called for collaboration among businesses on this vital issue.

She also shared impressions from Japan, where post-war initiatives included tactile navigation systems.

«This experience shows that valuing people is key to success,» concluded the First Lady.
