The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has announced the appointment of five new deputies to the First Deputy Prime Minister responsible for digital transformation.
This information comes from the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
"To strengthen the team, the government has appointed five deputies to the First Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov. Four of them have experience within the Ministry, and Vitaliy Balashov joined us from a leading IT company," the report states.
Valeriia Koval has been appointed as the deputy minister responsible for the development of digital and offline services. Her primary task is to shift the approach to public services to focus on the needs of citizens.
She will oversee the development of electronic administrative services, enhance digital conveniences, and coordinate the G2G (government-to-government) direction, which involves integrating government bodies into a cohesive digital environment.
Stanislav Prybityk has taken the role of deputy minister for digital infrastructure development. He will be responsible for electronic communications, radio frequency spectrum, and ensuring broadband Internet access throughout the country.
Zoryana Stetsyuk will now serve as the deputy minister for digital governance, data, and digital infrastructure. She will focus on developing effective government systems and ensuring citizens have access to quality e-services.
Vitaliy Balashov, a new member of the team, will be responsible for cybersecurity of the state information infrastructure and the implementation of modern technologies.
Nataliya Denykeyeva will be in charge of forming the policy for digital economy development through innovation and IT sector support. She will also be working on developing the digital ecosystem.
Additionally, Olexiy Vyskub and Oleksandr Borynyak continue in their roles.
The Ministry of Digital Transformation notes that many leaders began as specialists and grew alongside the team, with significant personnel changes occurring recently.
