The Ministry of Veterans Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, has introduced a new section in the "Diia" mobile app named "Veteran Pro," aimed at supporting military personnel, veterans, and families of fallen defenders.

This announcement was made by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the launch event of the new digital space "Veteran Pro" in Kyiv, as reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".

"Today, we are taking another step in support of our defenders by launching the digital ecosystem 'Veteran Pro', specifically designed for the veteran community," Shmyhal stated.

This platform provides veterans access to a variety of existing government support services, assisting them in adapting to civilian life.

Shmyhal added that the ecosystem will continue to be updated and expanded, incorporating new services and initiatives needed by defenders.

According to Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, veterans will also have the option to change the icon of the "Diia" app to a veteran-themed design.

He also noted that the app will automatically adjust when used by veterans to offer tailored veteran services.

Specifically, the new functionality in "Diia" is designed for the following categories of citizens: war veterans; affected participants of the Revolution of Dignity; family members of deceased (fallen) war veterans; family members of deceased (fallen) defenders of Ukraine.
