The President of Ukraine has made a decision to establish a new council focused on supporting businesses, simultaneously dissolving five earlier advisory bodies.
This information has been released on the official website of the Presidential Office.
According to the presidential decree, the new Business Support Council is designed to safeguard entrepreneurs' rights and promote investment initiatives in Ukraine.
The main tasks of the Council will include:
- analyzing state policies in the field of entrepreneurship, identifying problems and proposing solutions;
- developing measures to improve the business environment and protect property rights;
- processing legislative initiatives to align Ukrainian laws with EU regulations;
- strengthening cooperation between government bodies and entrepreneurs to address pressing issues.
The head of the new Council is Andriy Yermak, with Yuliya Svyrydенко serving as his deputy.
More than 70 entrepreneurs are part of the Council, including Oleg Horokhovskyi, Maksym Timchenko, Serhiy Tihipko, and others. The full list of Council members is available on the official website of the Presidential Office.
At the same time, the president has dissolved five other advisory bodies:
- The National Reform Council, created for reform coordination;
- The Reform Executive Committee, headed by Mikheil Saakashvili;
- The National Investment Council, aimed at attracting investments;
- The Council for the Development of Small Entrepreneurship;
- The Council for Supporting Entrepreneurship during Martial Law.
