Kyivstar has improved its My Kyivstar mobile app, making it more accessible for users with visual impairments. It now fully supports screen reader technologies, including TalkBack for Android and VoiceOver for iOS.

To achieve true inclusivity, the Kyivstar team conducted a comprehensive adaptation: they configured proper element narration, added textual descriptions for graphics, and implemented voice prompts for input fields, checkboxes, and buttons to provide important details for a complete understanding of the interface.

The quality of this adaptation has been verified by an independent evaluation from Access Lab, a company specializing in digital accessibility. Their experts provided recommendations that have already been partially implemented in the updated app version.

This update also reflects Kyivstar's conscious European approach to digital inclusivity, as it aligns with the European Accessibility Act requirements.

As a result, users with visual impairments can independently manage their telecom services: recharge their accounts, check their balance, connect Home Internet, Superpowers, and other services.
