In Ukraine, mobile scanning systems have been implemented at border checkpoints, allowing for the inspection of vehicles and cargo without opening them.

This was reported by the State Customs Service.

"Currently, all new mobile scanners, previously mentioned, have successfully completed final testing. They are installed at the following checkpoints: "Porubne – Siret" and "Orlivka – Isaccea" on the border with Romania, "Uzhhorod – Vyshnie Nemetske" on the border with Slovakia, as well as "Krakiwce - Korczowa" and "Yahodin - Dorohusk" on the border with Poland, which are key routes for Ukrainian exports to EU countries," the statement said.

At the same time, a professional training program is being implemented, developed with the best international practices in mind.

Officials are being trained to work with the new scanning systems, focusing on the technical capabilities of the equipment, image interpretation principles, risk detection, and prompt response to potential threats.

Additionally, there is training for trainers, who after completing an advanced course will be able to train operators themselves.
