Between 2025 and 2028, Boryspil International Airport will receive technical support from the Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), particularly for the supply of AODB/AOC information systems.
This is noted in the project of the "Civil Aviation Development Strategy and Airspace Use in Ukraine until 2030", reported by "Interfax-Ukraine".
The KOICA will implement the project titled "Modernization of Boryspil Airport for Safe, Secure, and Efficient Air Transport" registered as 2024-00124 on January 10, 2025.
The project is funded by the government of the Republic of Korea to enhance passenger service conditions and improve civil aviation navigation safety.
A tender announcement has been posted on the KOICA website for project support at Boryspil Airport, inviting experts for the selection of local AODB (Airport Operational Database) and AOC (Airport Operations Center) equipment suppliers.
The total tender amount is $1.1 million, with experts engaged until 2028.
The civil aviation development strategy project anticipates assistance from partner airports through the free transfer of vehicles and technical equipment to designated Ukrainian airports.
