In Kyiv, with the support of the Department of Public Communications of the KMDA, a new photobook titled «Kyiv Through the Lens of Mykhailo Bolotov» has been released. The publication is now available in the city's libraries.

This photobook offers a fascinating journey back to Kyiv at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. Central to the work are the photographs of Mykhailo Bolotov, an artist who captured the unique architecture, ancient churches, and the atmosphere of Kyiv during that era. The book also features works from various photographers who documented Kyiv in different years.

Myroslava Smirnova, the Director of the Department of Public Communications of the KMDA, remarked: «This is a remarkable project that preserves our historical memory. Mykhailo Bolotov's works convey the spirit and beauty of our city. I sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the creation of this book».

The photobook represents an important step in preserving the cultural heritage of the capital and will serve as a valuable addition to the collections of Kyiv's public libraries.
