On December 1st, in commemoration of World AIDS Day, an informational event will take place in Kyiv, where anyone can undergo anonymous and free testing for HIV, as well as for viral hepatitis B and C.

This was announced by the Kyiv City Health Department.

The event will run from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. During the testing, participants will also receive consultations from specialists regarding infection prevention, the importance of early diagnosis, and modern treatment options.

The Department emphasizes that Kyiv continues to fulfill its commitments under the international Fast-Track Cities program aimed at overcoming the HIV epidemic in major cities worldwide. One of the key indicators of the program is the availability of early testing, which allows for timely detection of the virus and prompt initiation of treatment.

The event is organized by the Kyiv City Center for HIV Prevention and Treatment with the support of the Kyiv City Health Department.
