As of June 29, over 90% of patients in contracted healthcare facilities have been verified in the electronic health system.

This was reported by Health Minister Viktor Lyashko on Facebook.

He noted, "Changes in the healthcare system are impossible without an honest conversation with those who work with patients daily. I met with family doctors to discuss the challenges they face and to collaboratively find optimal solutions. Open dialogue is key to the system's resilience, especially during wartime. One key issue currently concerning the professional community is the verification of patient data in the electronic health system."

"I understand this creates an additional burden for doctors. But this is about transparency. It is about the system funding actual patients, not statistics. This is a fundamental principle of reform: money follows the patient. In the context of limited resources, this principle gains even more significance," emphasized Lyashko.

He informed that, according to the National Health Service of Ukraine, as of June 29, over 90% of patients in contracted primary healthcare facilities have been verified.

"This is a significant collaborative effort. To strengthen it, the National Health Service of Ukraine has launched an updated analytical dashboard: each facility can see its own metrics, compare dynamics, and orient itself towards best practices," noted Lyashko.

He also discussed actions to take in cases where patients do not pass verification and added that clear solutions will be developed soon.

The Health Minister appealed to all Ukrainians to support this process: "If you are receiving services — please confirm your data. This is about shared responsibility for stability and fairness in the healthcare system."
