Quote: "To obtain coordinates for strikes, the traitor was traversing the city, photographing potential locations of Ukrainian defenders while pretending to take her 4-year-old child to preschool."
Details: The SBU uncovered the agent who was passing coordinates for attacks in the Zhytomyr region. She attempted to avoid suspicion by going for "walks" with her child, capturing images of places where military personnel might be located.
In this manner, the traitor sought to gather and relay information to the enemy about command posts and observed the movement of freight trains, hoping to spot military convoys.
The SBU exposed her activities and prevented her from transmitting crucial information to the Russians, implementing additional security measures to protect strategic facilities.
According to law enforcement, the woman independently contacted the enemy through Telegram while looking for side jobs and encountered a recruited FSB operative, whose identity has been established.
During a search, her phone was seized, containing evidence of collaboration with the aggressor.
The perpetrator has been detained and charged with treason, facing a potential life sentence.
