The Security Service of Ukraine has arrested an individual in Lviv who was working for the enemy and gathering information on the locations of Defense Forces for potential missile strikes.
According to the investigation, the suspect is a 21-year-old local resident who, due to a gambling addiction, sought quick ways to earn money through various Telegram channels to pay off debts.
In this messenger, the individual was recruited by an enemy handler who offered him financial compensation for cooperation.

Investigations revealed that he was driving around the city and its outskirts, using a mobile application to record the coordinates of military personnel concentrations.
Additionally, he attempted to identify military units and other sensitive sites that could become potential targets for the enemy.
The collected information was stored on his smartphone in the form of photos and their coordinates.
The SBU investigators informed the suspect about charges under part 3 of article 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information about the location of the Armed Forces in wartime conditions).
The suspect is held in custody without the right to bail and faces up to 12 years in prison.
