An incident occurred in a taxi in Kyiv where a driver, enraged by the mess in his vehicle, assaulted a passenger multiple times. He then fled the scene. Such actions may lead to a prison sentence of up to three years.
During the ride, a 27-year-old woman felt unwell, and instead of offering assistance, the driver reacted violently, evicting her from the car and striking her. Medical professionals diagnosed her with injuries, including a broken jaw.
Law enforcement quickly identified the driver as a 24-year-old man from Kyiv. Investigators have charged him under Article 122 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for intentionally inflicting moderate bodily harm.
Currently, police have completed the preliminary investigation and submitted the indictment to court. The offender faces up to three years of imprisonment.
