In Ukraine's capital, law enforcement uncovered an organizer who offered men of draft age fake documents for money that allowed them to evade conscription. In Transcarpathia, two individuals were arrested for illegally transporting conscripted individuals to Romania. This was reported by the National Police.

Situation in Kyiv

Law enforcement detained a 37-year-old man who offered men of draft age the processing of fake documents for money that enabled them to avoid conscription. He claimed to have connections with TCC employees and other officials.
The cost of such services ranged from $5,000 to $10,000.
A 59-year-old accomplice was also involved in the scheme, assisting clients throughout the process.
The organizer was apprehended while receiving funds, and during searches, $7,000, a phone, and documentation were confiscated. Both individuals were charged under Part 3 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obtaining undue advantage for influence on the decisions of officials).

Situation in Transcarpathia

Law enforcement also detained two men who organized the illegal transport of conscripted individuals across the border to Romania.
During their attempt to illegally cross the border, they were caught along with their client. For this service, they received $7,000. The perpetrators had a radio, phones, a surveillance system, and other tangible evidence confiscated. They were detained under Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code and placed in a temporary detention facility.
The detainees were charged under Part 3 of Article 332 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal transportation of persons across the state border for selfish motives), which carries a penalty of 7 to 9 years in prison.
