During a gathering between a man and a woman, a conflict arose resulting in the attacker striking the guest multiple times on the head. For this act, the perpetrator faces up to fifteen years in prison. 
The Kyiv police received a report from a local resident stating that a woman's lifeless body was found in his friend's apartment.
Investigators and a forensic expert arrived at the scene and identified the deceased as a 58-year-old resident of the capital, discovering signs of assault on her body.
During the preliminary investigation, police determined that the 36-year-old apartment owner and the 58-year-old woman were friends who had been drinking together at his home. A conflict erupted between them during their conversation and alcohol consumption, during which the assailant struck the guest on the head, causing her to fall to the floor. Realizing that the victim could not resist, he delivered another blow to her head and left the apartment. As a result of her injuries, the woman died at the scene.
Law enforcement officers, in collaboration with criminal analysis analysts, quickly located and apprehended the suspect in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv Prosecutor's Office, notified the suspect of his charge under Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - intentional murder. The court has placed him in custody. The article's penalty provides for up to fifteen years of imprisonment.
