The Security Service and National Police of Ukraine have uncovered new evasion schemes related to mobilization across various regions and detained nine individuals involved in these activities.
 In Vinnytsia, a local businessman was arrested for fictitiously employing conscripts at a private lyceum that existed only on paper and had no students.
He promised his clients a delay in mobilization.
Alongside him, his accomplice, who he appointed as the director of the fake educational institution, was also apprehended.
Furthermore, in the regional center, a lecturer from a local institute was revealed to be profiting from illegally enrolling conscripts into the university. His 'students' did not take entrance exams and, after being admitted, failed to attend classes.
 In Dnipro, military counterintelligence caught another individual 'red-handed.' For a fee, he offered conscripts a way to leave their military unit without authorization.
To facilitate the escape, he unsuccessfully attempted to bribe an officer at a restricted facility to overlook the absence of soldiers during personnel checks.
In Prikarpattia, a lawyer was suspected of offering marriage to conscripts with disabled individuals needing care in exchange for money.
The lawyer was also searching for relatives of mobilized persons, promising his assistance in transferring military personnel to 'rear' units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in exchange for bribes.
In Kirovohrad region, two Telegram channel administrators were exposed for sharing geolocations of recruitment centers and encouraging evasion of military service.
Additionally, one blogger published hostile slogans calling for the overthrow of the constitutional order and seizing power in Ukraine.
 In Sumy, two more individuals were suspected of leaking locations on social media and agitating to bypass checkpoints of recruitment centers and law enforcement.

The suspects have been notified of charges under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

  •  Part 1 of Article 114-1 (obstruction of lawful activities of the Armed Forces and other military formations in a special period);
  •  Part 2 of Article 109 (public calls for violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or seizure of state power);
  •  Part 3 of Article 369 (offering, promising, or providing improper benefits to a public official);
  •  Part 3 of Article 369-2 (abuse of influence).

The offenders face up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.
Comprehensive measures were conducted by SBU employees in Vinnytsia, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, and Sumy regions under the procedural guidance of the regional prosecutors.
