A traffic accident occurred in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv, injuring five people, including two children. The collision took place on Salute Street, where a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter truck collided with a BYD passenger car. As a result, the BYD vehicle was pushed onto the sidewalk where pedestrians were present. 
The driver of the BYD and his 11-year-old son were hospitalized, and three pedestrians were also injured, including a woman with a one-and-a-half-year-old child. 
Investigators and patrol officers are currently on-site, working to determine the circumstances surrounding the accident.
