Since yesterday morning, various institutions in Kyiv have been receiving reports of bomb threats. Numerous locations have been included in the list, such as hospitals, educational institutions, shopping centers, and administrative buildings.
Law enforcement units, investigative teams, bomb disposal experts, and canine units were dispatched to verify the situation. All premises and surrounding areas were thoroughly inspected. No explosive devices were found as a result of these checks.
Such messages are part of the information warfare waged by the enemy, aiming to destabilize society and instill fear among citizens. However, each report is always examined and handled comprehensively.
The police remind you: if you notice any suspicious objects, call 102 immediately.
It is emphasized that knowingly false reports of threats to public safety, destruction, or damage to property are punishable by imprisonment for a term of 2 to 8 years (Art. 259 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
