The SBU along with the Prosecutor General's Office revealed a spy operating for Russian FSB within NABU. Comprehensive measures led to the arrest of a NABU employee from the elite unit "D-2".

Investigations revealed that the agent's activities were coordinated by Dmitry Ivantsov, a former deputy security chief for Yanukovych, who was recruited by the FSB.

The SBU documented at least 60 instances of information transfer, including sensitive data on Ukrainian law enforcement officials. The agent leveraged closed databases to gather information.

For each completed task, he received payments on his bank card. Despite previous warnings about potential risks, NABU leadership took no action.

Following thorough documentation of his criminal activities, the SBU apprehended the agent, seizing his phone and computer. He has been charged under several articles of the Ukrainian Criminal Code.

The criminal faces up to 15 years in prison. The operation was conducted under the supervision of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
