Investigators from the Kyiv police department, in collaboration with SBU specialists and under the supervision of prosecutors, have documented a criminal activity.

It has been established that a 26-year-old foreigner residing in Kyiv was assisting students of a local medical university in successfully passing the KROK exam for a fee without proper preparation.

Students, particularly from other countries, were paying him $9,000 - the amount he and his accomplices demanded for a successful exam result. After completing the specialized qualification exam, foreign students submitted blank personalized answer sheets, which were later filled with correct answers, guaranteeing them a positive outcome.

Currently, law enforcement has documented one episode of this corruption scheme.

The individual has been charged under Part 5 of Article 27, Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine for facilitating the receipt of illicit benefits. The penalty for this offense can reach up to ten years in prison with property confiscation.

Authorities continue investigative actions to identify other participants involved in the forgery of exam papers and result falsification.
