A serious traffic accident occurred on the Kyiv-Vyshgorod road.

Preliminary investigations by the police revealed that near the Kyiv reservoir, a Hyundai car driven by a 24-year-old man collided with a Honda motorcycle while attempting a left turn.

Officers Sergey Sychkar and Yevhen Dyadyk quickly arrived at the scene. They provided first aid to the motorcyclist and applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding.

As a result of the incident, a 43-year-old motorcyclist and his 35-year-old passenger were hospitalized with varying degrees of injuries.

Investigators from the Vyshgorod police department have opened a criminal case regarding the violation of traffic safety rules, which led to medium severity injuries (part 1 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, and circumstances of the event are being established.

The Kyiv police once again emphasizes the importance of adhering to traffic rules and speed limits.
