The Security Service of Ukraine has uncovered an FSB agent who was coordinating missile strikes on Kyiv.
According to investigation materials, a 17-year-old high school graduate was recruited by the enemy through social media platforms promising «easy money».
The agent's main task was to relay coordinates of potential targets provided by his handler.
Key targets of interest to the enemy included energy facilities, military headquarters, and air defense systems protecting the Kyiv region.
SBU operatives detained the suspect near a military office where he was preparing an «intelligence report».
A phone was seized from him, containing photos of the specified objects.
SBU investigators have charged him under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed during a state of war).
The suspect remains in custody and faces life imprisonment with asset forfeiture.
Comprehensive measures were conducted by SBU officers in Kyiv and the region under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv city prosecutor's office.
