In Kyiv, 100 students from grades 8 to 11 who have excelled in Olympiads, contests, and tournaments will receive a monthly scholarship of 1,000 UAH. The Kyiv City Council has approved the list of scholarship recipients for the period from September 1, 2024, to June 30, 2025. This was announced by Valentyn Mondryiisky, Deputy Head of the KCSA and a member of the Kyiv City Council.

«These initiatives once again confirm that the development of the education sector is a key priority for Kyiv. Scholarships encourage students to actively participate in intellectual competitions, enhancing the prestige of academic achievements in the capital. We continue to create conditions for the development of talents and support the educational community,» emphasized Valentyn Mondryiisky.

Payments to students will be funded from the Kyiv budget.

The establishment of scholarships was ratified by a decision of the Kyiv City Council made in 2022, aimed at supporting talented youth and stimulating intellectual growth.
