Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Igor Sikorsky is excited to announce a partnership with GSC Game World, a prominent Ukrainian studio renowned for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series. This collaboration will integrate educational and scientific programs aimed at improving the qualifications of game development specialists in Ukraine.
A key element of this agreement is the new educational and professional program "Computer Game Programming," which will be developed by experts from GSC Game World. The studio will create a comprehensive training course that focuses on modern technologies, game development methodologies, and the real demands of the industry – from working with game engines to the intricacies of producing large-scale projects.
The Faculty of Computer Science and Computer Engineering plans to hold joint activities with the studio's team, including master classes, workshops, and thematic seminars. Faculty members and students will have opportunities to engage in research initiatives related to graphics technologies, development tools, and optimization of gaming systems. The partnership will also facilitate dual education, allowing students to intern and work on real tasks at GSC Game World.
Kyiv Polytechnic emphasizes that this collaboration will help create a complete cycle of training for game programmers in Ukraine, blending academic knowledge with practical experience from one of the country's leading game studios. This will enable the university to respond more swiftly to the needs of the GameDev market and equip students with essential skills for the industry.
